1. Who we are

Amable ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered guest assistant platform for short-term rental hosts and property managers, hosted at amable.io. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — your email address, password (stored hashed), and optional phone number used for SMS notifications.
  • Property data — information you upload about your properties (WiFi details, check-in instructions, house rules, Q&A content) so the assistant can answer guest questions.
  • Guest conversations — messages guests exchange with the assistant, so you can review them and follow up. We ask guests not to share sensitive personal information in chat.
  • Usage data — basic technical logs (pages visited, errors, timestamps) used to operate and improve the service.

3. How we use your data

We use this data to provide the service (answering guest questions from your property information), notify you of escalated conversations, maintain security, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

4. Processors we rely on

We share data with a small number of service providers, only as needed to run the platform:

  • Mistral AI — processes chat messages to generate assistant responses.
  • Cloudflare R2 — stores uploaded files and images.
  • Twilio — delivers SMS notifications to property managers who enable them.

Each processor only receives the data required for its function and is bound by its own data-processing terms.

5. Retention

We keep your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or a property, the associated data is removed from our active systems. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and request a portable copy.
